2024 Lamborghini Huracán STO SC 10° Anniversario Marks 10 Years of Huracán

  • Lamborghini pulled back the cover on the Huracán STO SC 10° Anniversario as a celebration of the ten-year anniversary of the Huracán.
  • The SC 10° is a one-of-one version of the sports car that Lamborghini’s Squadra Corse team fiddled with to improve track performance.
  • The special edition marks the first road-legal vehicle that Lamborghini’s Squadra Corse team has built.

It’s no secret that Lamborghini loves to build special editions of its sports cars—remember the Aventador Ultimae? How about the Invencible and Auténtica? Well, the 10-year anniversary of the Huracán is coming up, and as a celebration the manufacturer tasked its Squadra Corse and Ad Personam teams with creating an “Opera Unica” (unique work) version of the sports car. The resulting car is called the Huracán STO SC 10° Anniversario.

A One-of-One Huracán

Unlike some special editions that slap a special livery on an otherwise stock car, the SC 10° improves upon the Huracán’s already impressive performance. The one-of-one version of the sports car is the first road-legal vehicle developed by Lamborghini’s Squadra Corse department. According to the manufacturer, the aerodynamics are improved with the addition of two front carbon-fiber flicks mounted to the hood, which work in conjunction with the rear wing that’s been set to three degrees higher than the production model. The combined effort helps improve downforce at the front and rear of the car.

Mechanical grip is improved by a set of four racing-derived dampers that replace the standard active components. The dampers are four-way adjustable, with rebound/compression at both high and low frequencies. Lamborghini also worked with Bridgestone to develop new tires focused on track durability for the car. The stock exhaust has also been replaced by an Akrapovic titanium setup, which should free up more noise from the V-10.

Race Car-Inspired

According to the Italian automaker, the black-and-green livery was inspired by the Lamborghini SC63, which is the brand’s soon-to-debut hybrid prototype race car set to compete in the IMSA and WEC championships. The “Squadra Corse 10° Anniversario” is plastered on both doors as well as the rear fin.

The interior trim was reportedly selected specifically for track use. The sport seats are upholstered in a Nero Ade (black) Alcantara with Verde Fauns (green) stitching. Four-point racing belts and an aluminum roll bar are fitted to the cabin to keep the occupants safe on track. The interior also features a carbon-fiber floor covering and exclusive plaque, placed on the rear firewall to certify the one-of-one status.
