Youtubers and streamers earn big, and many of them flaunt their earnings. We often see them buy expensive cars, wearables and property. Recently, ‘Jonathan Gaming’ acquired a Lamborghini Huracan, which was delivered at a grand event. He has posted a video of the milestone event on his channel. It shows him dramatically take delivery of his new Huracan. The channel has over 6.5 million subscribers.
The video talks about the family’s journey so far, in terms of the vehicles they owned over time. Jonathan seems to be an absolute car guy. He has had a passion for fast cars since when he was a kid and has previously owned a BMW and Mustang. He arrives at the car dealer in a Mercedes SUV ( likely the GL). The gamer purchased his dream car from Fuzion Cars, Delhi. This essentially means that he bought a pre-owned Lamborghini.
Before we take a deep dive into the video, let’s have a quick look at who Jonathan Amaral is, as not everyone would be familiar with the gaming industry. He is one of the most popular esports athletes in the country and probably the ‘best Battleground Mobile India (BGMI)- formerly PUBG- player’ of Indian origin. The 22-year-old started gaming at a young age, and soon found his niche in shooting games. Jo came to know about the Esports scene in India in 2019, and started working towards entering it.
He’s now one of the most sought-after esports athletes and the face of GodLike Esports. He currently streams for 10-12 hours every working day. His gaming day starts at around 2:30 am and goes on till 7:30 in the morning. He does 6-7 matches and in-game drills as well.
Coming back to the video, Jonathan is seen arriving at the dealer. He checks out the dealer stock- a few interesting models can be seen – like a VW Beetle, Bentley and Lamborghini Urus. The dealer explains each of these models and also quotes the asking price.
Interestingly, he seems to be citing ‘new-car-like’ prices! He says the Beetle costs around 40 lakh. If you recollect, a brand-new Beetle used to cost around 30 lakh when it was still on sale here. We did a quick research and found out that the Beetle shown in the video is a 2017 model, and the seller has listed it with a price of 36.5 lakh! The vehicle is claimed to have 10,000 km on its odo. A used Beetle usually costs much less. You can find similar cars being listed with asking prices of 20-ish lakh rupees.
Next up, the Bentley has an asking price of 1.85 Crores. The price once again seems slightly ambitious, despite the car being in pristine condition. The third model shown in the video is a Lamborghini Urus which costs over 4 Cr. The video looks like a promotion for the dealer as well.
Coming back, Jonathan and his family are taken to a cricket stadium for the delivery of his dream car. The event takes place at night. The dealer planned a series of games and pranks before commencing the actual delivery. Jonathan and his family are seen fully celebrating the occasion.
The video also includes voice clips from his family where they talk about the gamer, his passion and the past. In the final section of the video, the actual unveiling happens. The gamer unveiled the Huracan along with his family and was all excited to do the same.
Jonathan then checks out his new Lamborghini. He is seen revving the car, cherishing its loud exhaust note. He even took it for a quick spin, which is not shown on camera.
Coming to the car, Jonathan’s Lamborghini Huracan seems to have a Satin Grey colourway, with Black wheels and Fluorescent Green callipers. We are not sure which iteration or model year of the Huracan the gamer has bought. The supercar has both RWD and AWD versions to it.
It is powered by a 5.2 L V10 engine that produces 640 hp and 600 Nm. The transmission on offer is a 7-speed automatic unit. The car has both coupe and Spyder forms and Jonathan has opted for the former. 0-100 kph takes 2.9- 3.5 seconds depending on the variant chosen.
