The number of women drivers in India has gone up over the years. It is not uncommon to find women driving expensive cars in India. Some of the rich women even own exotic cars from brands like Ferrari and Lamborghini. Most of the women who are seen driving such expensive cars are young. However, here we have a video of a 73-year-old grandma from Kerala who is seen driving a Jaguar F-Type sports car.

The video has been shared by A2Z Heavy Equipment Institute on their Instagram page. If you have been following our page for a long time, you might recognize this grandma. Her name is Radhamani, and what makes her different from others of her age is the fact that she loves driving.
In this video, Radhamani is seen sitting in the driver’s seat of a green Jaguar F-Type sports car. She can be heard saying that she is sitting in the driver’s seat of a Jaguar sports car, and her daughter-in-law is driving a BMW Z4 sports car.
The grandma then starts driving the car. Radhamani shared this video on Instagram with a caption in Malayalam that translates to “The latest video of BMW Sports driving was watched by more than one crore people and shared by many people… Each time I drive a new vehicle, I feel so happy… But today it’s even happier to know that everyone likes it…”
The grandma you see here in the video is Radhamani, and she is not your usual grandma at home. She is the owner of A2Z Driving School in Kerala’s Kochi. The driving school was set up in 1970 by her husband. Radhamani first learned to drive a car when she was 30 years old. It was her husband who insisted on her learning to drive, and soon she found an interest in it.
The registration number of the Jaguar F-type was run online, and it was found that this sports car is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 supercharged petrol engine that generates 375 Bhp and 460 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to an automatic transmission, and power is sent to the rear wheels.
She currently holds licenses to drive vehicles in 11 different categories. She has the license to operate an excavator, forklift, crane, drive a road roller, tractor, container trailer truck, bus, lorry, and many more. Radhamani is also the first woman in Kerala to get a heavy vehicle license. It was in 2021 that she got a license for transporting hazardous goods. She got her first license for both bus and lorry back in 1988.
The reason why she decided to apply for all these licenses was to run the driving school business herself after she lost her husband in an accident in 2004. In order to run a driving school, it is a must that the proprietors or the instructors have a license for the vehicles that they teach.
Radhamani got her two-wheeler license in 1993. In an old interview, Radhamani said that her husband had bought her a scooter and since then she rides her scooter everywhere. She only takes out a four-wheeler when it is absolutely necessary. She is the only woman in the country who currently holds a license to drive 11 types of vehicles. A few months ago, we also saw a video where Radhamani was driving a current generation BMW Z4 sports car.
