Hyundai Creta: Base model modified to look like Knight Edition [Video]

Hyundai Creta is one of the most popular SUV in its segment. We currently have the second generation Creta in the market which is popular among buyers for its feature loaded cabin, premium looks and pricing. There are several modification options available for Hyundai Creta in the market. One of the most common type of modification is converting a base variant into a top-end model. We have featured some of these modified examples on our website but, here we have a base model Hyundai Creta which gets interior customisations and Knight edition alloy wheels installed in it.

The video has been uploaded by VIG AUTO ACCESSORIES on their YouTube channel. In this video, vlogger talks about all the modifications his team has done on this base model Creta. Starting with the front, the base model front grille has been replaced with a new unit which is normally seen in higher varaints. The headlamps are now HID unit and the original LED DRLs are retained. The bumper now gets Creta’s original grey coloured faux skid plate and LED fog lamps have also been installed on the bumper.

Coming to the side profile, the steel rims on the SUV have been replaced with 16 inch Hyundai alloy wheels. These wheels are the same that one would see on Creta Knight Edition which got launched in the market earlier this year. The door handles are all finished in chrome and the ORVMs are replaced too. They are now electrically adjustable and foldable. The turn indicators on the fenders have been removed and a chrome garnish has been installed in that place. The turn indcicator is now integrated with the ORVM. No other modification has been done to the side profile of the Creta. The car gets shark fin antenna and black roof rails. The silver garnish on the C pillar has however been retained.

At the rear, the tail lamps are all stock units. The rear bumper has been changed and it now comes with grey coloured skid plate. Just like the exterior, interior on this SUV has been customised too. The car gets black and ice grey coloured dual-tone seat covers. There are illuminated scuff plates and the driver side door panel has been has been replaced to install Hyundai’s genuine switches for the ORVMs. The steering wheel is also wrapped in dual-tone finish. The dashboard has ice grey finish to it already. The steering wheel gets control switches for the touchscreen infotainment system and also cruise control.

Talking about the screen, it is an aftermarket unit which also shows feed from the HD reverse parking camera. The car also gets sunglass holder and the speakers have also been installed. Damping has been done on all doors for better insulation. The car also gets active ambient lights installed on the door and dashboard. The colour, intensity of the light can be controlled using a mobile phone application or a remote. With all these modifications in place, the Creta does not look like a base model.
