Mahindra launched their new logo for SUVs in the market last year with XUV700. They had mentioned that the upcoming products and the existing models from Mahindra will sport the new twin peak logo. We saw the new logo first on XUV700 and after that on Scorpio N. Recently, a Mahindra Bolero with new Mahindra logo was spotted testing and the 2022 Mahindra Thar was also spotted with the new logo. It looks like Mahindra is silently adding the new logo to almost all their SUVs and one of the recent car to get it is the Bolero Neo.
The video has been uploaded by The Car Show on their YouTube channel. In this video vlogger talks about all the features that are available with the top-end variant of Bolero Neo. Mahindra launched Bolero Neo in 2021 and it is actually a rebadged version of TUV300 SUV. Mahindra did make necessary changes to the TUV300 when they launched Bolero Neo. For example, it is the only MUV in the segment to get a MLD (mechanical locking differential). This makes Bolero Neo a lot more capable than regular 2WD SUVs. The regular Bolero is still available for sale and it targeted to rural audience while the Bolero Neo aims at customers who want the Bolero name tag with some premium features.

Talking about the changes, the only change in the Bolero Neo in comparison to the previous version is the logo. The front grille now sports the new Mahindra twin peak logo with chrome slats on either sides. There is a chrome strip running just below the bonnet which meets the headlamps. The headlamp is a halogen unit with LED DRLs integrated in it. Only the top-end varaint of Bolero Neo comes with fog lamps. The bumper has been redesigned and it looks different from the one seen on TUV300. Coming to the side profile, the car looks exactly the same as TUV300. There is a 15 inch alloy wheel with new Mahindra logo and the thick black cladding on the door and fender gives it typical Bolero character.
At the rear, the spare wheel is not an alloy wheel and the Bolero Neo badging and variant can be seen on the tail gate. The door handles are all finished in black to give it a rugged look. Moving, the cabin on Bolero Neo is slightly more premium that what you see in regular Bolero. It gets a steering wheel that is similar to what we have seen in Thar. The new Mahindra logo can be seen on the steering wheel as well. The instrument cluster is an analog unit with a colour MID in the center. This is also borrowed from Thar. The seats gets beige colour fabric upholstery and the door also gets similar colour treatment.
The steering wheel gets buttons to engage cruise control and the touchscreen infotainment system. The touchscreen infotainment system is from Kenwood and it does not support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There is manual AC controls and it offers decent amount of space for the occupants. It is powered by a 1.5 litre turbocharged diesel engine which generates 100 Ps and 160 Nm of peak torque. It is available with a 5-speed manual gearbox only.
