Based on the Mercedes-EQ premium-class electric architecture, Mercedes-Benz has announced pricing and trim packaging for its latest all-electric model, the new EQE Sedan.
Acting as a reflection of the overarching Mercedes-EQ family design language, the sleek exterior design of the EQE beautifully features generously modeled surfaces and seamless transitions. The 2023 EQE Sedan line-up features the EQE 350+ Sedan, EQE 350 4MATIC Sedan, and EQE 500 4MATIC Sedan. In addition, all models will be offered in Premium, Exclusive, and Pinnacle Trims for the U.S. market, similar to the EQS Sedan.
Featuring a generous level of standard equipment, the Premium Trim includes the MBUX infotainment system with a 12.8″ OLED multimedia touchscreen portrait display and a 12.3″ driver display. Mercedes continues to evolve MBUX with the Zero Layer interface that allows drivers to access frequently used applications directly on the home screen.
Fitted standard with a 90.6 kWh battery, the EQE 350+ delivers an EPA-estimated 305 miles of range. EV consumers with range anxiety can fear not, as EQE Sedan customers are provided with an extensive nationwide network of charging stations from “Mercedes me Charge,” an integrated payment function with simple billing processes.
Customers also receive additional benefits from the Mercedes-Benz USA collaboration with Electrify America. This partnership provides customers with an unlimited number of 30–minute DC Fast Charging sessions throughout the entire Electrify America network for the first two years from account activation.
The EQE boasts an expansive suite of enhanced Driver Assistance Systems as standard features. Notable highlights include Active Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Assist, LED Headlamps with Highbeam Assist, and the Parking Package with Surround View System and PARKTRONIC.
Customers looking for a truly acoustic experience need not look further than the EQE, as it’s equipped with the standard Burmester® Sound System, including EQ Sound Experience, Sound Personalization, and Dolby Atmos. Various soundscape options are available for drivers to create an individual acoustic set-up. Sound Experiences can be easily selected or switched off using the vehicle’s central display.
With a starting MSRP of $74,900, the 2023 EQE Sedan arrives in U.S. dealerships this fall.
