Kia Announces Pricing For The New 2023 Niro EV

This week, Kia announced pricing and trim levels for the all-new 2023 Niro EV. Offered in two trim levels, the Niro EV Wind and Niro EV Wave, the 2023 Niro EV will have a starting MSRP of $39,450.

The Niro EV presents bold design Inside and out, a style inspired by Kia’s “Opposites United” philosophy. Though the second-generation Niro EV retains its compact frame, it is a bit larger than the first-generation model. The interior features a multitude of upscale materials, including seats covered in high-quality bio polyurethane and Tencel™ made from eucalyptus leaves. Additional features include a headliner composed of reconditioned wallpaper, an available panoramic moonroof, dual 10.25-inch screens for the infotainment system and instrument cluster, and an optional eight-speaker Harman/Kardon® sound system.

The Niro EV is powered by a 64.8 kWh battery and a 150kW (201-hp) motor with standard DC fast-charging capability, helping it rate at an EPA-estimated 253 miles of all-electric range. When connected to a Level 3 fast charger, the Niro EV can recharge from 10 to 80 percent in under 45 minutes. The Preserve Package, which is available on both Niro EV trims, adds some appealing cold-weather features like heated rear seats and a heat pump.

Outside of its sporty esthetic and tech-forward interior, the Niro EV’s standard driver assist features are abundant. They include Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance with Rear Cross Traffic Collision Avoidance, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection and Junction Turning, and Lane Following Assist.

The new 2023 Niro EV is scheduled to arrive at Kia retailers later this month. Trim Levels and MSRP (excluding a $1,295 destination fee) for the 2023 Niro EV are as follows:

  • Niro EV Wind – $39,450
  • Niro EV Wave – $44,450
