This week, Mazda announced pricing and packaging for the 2023 Mazda CX-30, with the base model starting with an MSRP of $22,950.
The naturally aspirated Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter engine has been improved for the 2023 model year, increasing five horsepower to 191 hp and two miles per gallon to achieve a combined 29 mpg.
Standard features on the new CX-30 include the latest i-Activ AWD system, which enhances performance by focusing on handling, vehicle control, and improved driving dynamics that help owners enjoy the driving experience, no matter the conditions or terrain. Mazda’s i-Activ AWD system shifts power to the appropriate wheels by continuously monitoring weight distribution, providing drivers with a near-instant response to inputs. Additionally, every CX-30 model is standardly equipped with G-Vectoring Control Plus and Off-Road Traction Assist.
As noted, the standard CX-30 2.5 S trim features Mazda’s updated Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter, four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine, delivering 191 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Standard safety features for i-Activsense include Smart Brake Support, Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop and Go, High Beam Control, and Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist.
The interior of the CX-30 features an 8.8-inch center console display with the latest version of the Mazda Connect infotainment system, which can be controlled with the multi-function commander knob and includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additional amenities include:
