Celebrating the spirit of independent filmmakers by partnering in innovative programming and bringing key initiatives to life, Acura is excited to recognize organizations such as the NAACP, The Latinx House, Outfest, and Latino Filmmaker’s Network through a platform that spotlights these important causes. Acura will also host a DEI panel discussion with Prime Video/IMDb for further conversation on diversity efforts.
In 2023, Acura will return to the Festival scene with two extraordinary venues – The Acura Festival Village and their brand-new Interactive Energy Lab. At both locations, guests can experience a vibrant mix of star-studded interviews, live performances from top artists such as Emotional Oranges & Adrian Quesada (from Black Pumas), who will be DJing on Friday evening, plus exclusive previews of the New World. The Same Energy branding campaign presents an immersive journey through the world of Precision Crafted Performance and an all-electric future, while Miami’s own DJ Cardi is set to treat festival goers with some special music programming throughout the weekend.
Acura has long supported the Sundance Film Festival, serving as Presenting Sponsor and Official Vehicle for 13 consecutive years. More than 100 Acura SUVs will be on hand at this year’s event to transport filmmakers, talent, and other festival attendees around Park City. In addition to showcasing their latest performance lineup at the festival – such as the all-electric Acura Precision EV Concept – they’ll also have special appearances from the 2023 MDX & MDX Type S models along with Integra sport compact & TLX Type S PMC Editions.
The Acura Festival Village is a must-see attraction located at 480 Swede Alley, open to the public Friday, January 20th through Monday, January 23rd, from 12 pm – 6 pm.
