As for the A3 allroad/allstreet/City Hopper, we aren’t sure what engine it will use. The European A3 is available with either a 1.5-liter TFSI engine or a 2.0-liter TDI diesel engine, while the US model gets a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder producing 201 horsepower. The last time we spotted this car, it had a charge door on the front left fender, hinting at a plug-in hybrid drivetrain. However, no charge port appears to be present this time around.
Audi may have something to show by the end of this year, but we wouldn’t predict a US arrival until next year, if at all.
