Ford Endeavour was one of the popular full size SUVs available on sale in India. In 2021, Ford officially shut its operations in Indian market in 2021. The manufacturer is still offering services to its existing customers. Ford Endeavour has got an official update internationally but India never got it. Aftermarket kits have started arriving in the market for Endeavour and we have started seeing couple of modifications too. Here we have a Ford Endeavour that has been neatly modified to look like Ford Everest.
The video has been uploaded by Rajni Chaudhary on their YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger talks to the owner of a Ford Endeavour who has modified the SUV to make it look like a current generation Endeavour or Everest. The front-end of the SUV has been completely transformed and the owner has also made some other changes to the SUV. This is an aftermarket kit and the modifications work on this SUV was done by Madaan radios which is a car customisation garage in Haryana. As part of the conversion, some of the panels on the Endeavour had to be replaced.
The SUV gets a new bonnet, front grille, headlamp, bumper and fenders. The body kit gives a wider look to the Endevour. The owner even managed to get the Everest moniker on the bonnet of the SUV. The front grille on this SUV is not painted and the Ford lettering can be seen there. There are couple of LED flashers installed in the front grille. A set of marker lamps are placed just below the bonnet of the SUV as well. The bumper of the new Everest is different from the previous generation and ther is a silver coloured skid plate on the lower part. The projector fog lamps are also integrated inside the bumper only.
The design of headlamp is different. They are inspired from Ford’s F-150 pickup trucks that are available in the international market. The bonnet of this SUV now looks more muscular and the SUV now looks a lot more taller than the regular SUV. Coming to teh side profile, you realise the reason for the SUV to look tall are the wheels. The stock wheels on this SUV were already removed by the owner. He was already using 20 inch wheels however, after conversion, the old wheels were not going well with the car. He decided to simply replace the wheels for 22 inch bigger units. The new set of wheels are installed in place with the help of spacers. This is giving the SUV a taller stance.
At the rear, the stock Endeavour tail lamps have been replaced with aftermarket LED units. There is an illuminated tailgate plate with Everest written in it. The rear bumper of this SUV remains the same but, there is a small body kit at the rear with fake exhaust tips installed in it. A large roof mounted spoiler is also part of the project. The interior of this SUV is kept simple. Only the plastic panels on the door get carbon fibre finish and the original steering wheel has been replaced with an aftermarket unit. Ambient lights are also part of the customisation. The owner does not reveal the exact cost of modification however, he does mention that the kit itself might cost around Rs 2 to 2.5 lakh.
