In 2007, Amitabh’s movie Eklavya got released. After finishing the movie, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, who was the director of the movie gave him a very special gift as a token of appreciation. The gift was a Rolls Royce Phantom luxury sedan. We have seen several videos and images of this particular car online however, here we have a rare footage from the day when Amitabh received this gift from the director.

Photographers and media people can be seen in the video and they are all waiting for Amitabh Bachchan himself. The Rolls Royce is parked behind and is covered with a Red cloth. Soon Amithabh Bachchan arrives for the event in his Lexus SUV. The actor gets down the SUV and walks towards Vidhu Vinod Chopra and his mother.
They have a conversation for some time and after that Vidhu’s mother handed him the keys to his brand-new Rolls Royce car. As the keys were being handed over, the veil was removed and the car was disclosed. The Silver coloured Rolls Royce sedan was looking brilliant and it was a new car too. Once the car was unveiled, both of them started to explore the vehicle and Amitabh even moved the car a bit forward in a way that it is closer to the media people. After exploring the car, Amitabh and Vidhu Vinod Chopra even gave media bites about the event.
Amitabh Bachchan was overwhelmed by this gift and the director can be heard saying in the video that he was extremely happy to work with Amitabh and he liked his performance in the movie so much that he decided to gift him the car. He can also be heard saying in the video that Amitabh Bachchan loves cars and he does have expensive taste in the same. The performance that Amitabh Bachchan portrayed in the movie Eklavya was much more precious than the Rolls Royce which is gifted to him.
