Cadillac has introduced its latest luxury SUV model, the 2024 XT4, which boasts a refreshed interior and exterior design and a suite of advanced technology and safety features. The XT4, which has a 235-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, comes in three trims – Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport, and is equipped with a Driver Mode Selector to tailor responses to different driving conditions. Additional features include a 33-inch-diagonal LED Color Touchscreen Display and over a dozen standard safety and driver assistance technologies.
“The 2024 XT4’s exterior styling — with signature vertical lighting cues and enhancements — advances Cadillac’s design standard,” said Bryan Nesbitt, Executive Director, Global Cadillac. “Complemented with a redesign of the interior instrument panel, fashionable embroidery patterns on the seating, and a feeling of front row spaciousness — the new XT4 is distinctive and audacious.”
The XT4’s new grille is a fresh reinterpretation of the classic Cadillac chevron embedded in a highly dynamic parametric pattern and crafted with ultra-precision. It also features over a dozen standard safety and driver assistance technologies such as Blind Zone Steering Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Braking, and Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning.
The XT4 also features a redesigned 33-inch-diagonal LED display, inspired by the Cadillac LYRIQ, which serves as the interface for a new advanced Virtual Cockpit System that is the foundation for the vehicle’s infotainment system and connectivity features. The interface has a stunning 9K resolution and curves towards the driver in a single continuous screen spanning the driver’s viewing area. It also incorporates a customizable user interface that offers a technology-forward and personalized experience, with selectable display themes that can be tailored to the user’s mood or personality.
“The XT4 continues to be a top-selling vehicle in its class, year over year,” said Rory Harvey, Global Cadillac Vice President Rory Harvey. “Its balance of dynamic style, drivability, and luxury has made it a favorite for many new Cadillac customers. Now with enhancements including our 33-inch-diagonal LED Color Touchscreen Display and new safety features, it will further demand a second look.”
The XT4 is equipped with a suite of connectivity features, including New 5G Wi-Fi® hotspot capability, Google built-in compatibility, Wireless Apple CarPlay, and Wireless Android Auto compatibility. The vehicle also has an AKG Studio 13-speaker audio system with metal speaker mesh, offering an immersive listening experience.
The XT4 is expected to offer an advanced driving experience with its available twin-clutch all-wheel-drive system, which helps traction and vehicle control on wet, dry, snowy, or icy roads. The system delivers torque to the wheels that need it the most, and the Active Sport Suspension elevates ride and handling dynamics and is exclusively available on XT4 Sport.
The 2024 Cadillac XT4 is expected to be available for sale this summer, with pricing to be announced closer to the start of production. The vehicle is set to be produced at GM’s Fairfax Assembly facility in Kansas. With its refreshed exterior design and advanced technology and safety features, the Cadillac XT4 is likely to be a favorite among new and existing Cadillac customers.
