Genesis’ staggered approach may be confusing to some, but the company has a strategy in place to ensure customers remain satisfied. The company told CarBuzz that the “expansion is very deliberate, and we’re making sure there’s enough product availability … we’re making sure dealers are onboard and going through the EV certification process. Genesis EVs will be sold everywhere Genesis vehicles are sold.”
At the moment, you can purchase a Genesis electric vehicle (from select dealers) in the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.
