The announcement of the Lamborghini Revuelto is the most monumental change that has happened for the Lamborghini brand in decades, as for the first time in the brand’s history, the “pure” naturally-aspirated V12 engine that woud normally power its flagship supercars has been swapped out for a unit that is paired with a hybrid system. Combined with a cleverly engineered, lighter, stronger carbon fiber monocoque and improved technology and performance throughout, and the result is an incredible supercar with a total power output of 1,001 horsepower.
YouTuber Varryx filmed at Lamborghini’s Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy headquarters looking to see the first Revuelto on the road, and for some time, what showed instead were the Revuelto prototype along with various specs of the Huracan Evo, Huracan Tecnica, Urus S, and Urus Performante. However, a green Lamborghini Reveulto, the first one on the road, finally showed up and exited the gate, with Varryx excited to hear the engine note of its V12. While that noise wasn’t present, the sound, or lack thereof, was equally as intriguing, as the Revuelto was showing off its fully-electric driving mode. Despite the lack of V12 roar, it’s exciting to see Lamborghini’s most versatile flagship supercar yet.
