2023 Verna gets aftermarket modifications already! [Video]

Hyundai recently launched the all-new Verna in the market. The car has already arrived at dealerships, and deliveries have started. Several review and delivery videos of the new Verna are available online. As with the older generation Verna, people have already started modifying the new generation sedan, and we have a video where a customer of a brand-new Hyundai Verna sedan has modified it.

The video has been uploaded by HER GARAGE on their YouTube channel. In the video, the vlogger speaks to the owner of the current generation Hyundai Verna about the modifications and the reason why he bought the Verna and not any other sedan or car. The owner mentions that he bought his Verna on March 28, 2023, and had been waiting to buy this sedan for a long time. He even went to the Auto Expo to see the sedan; sadly, the manufacturer had not displayed the car there. He liked the previous generation Verna, and that is one of the reasons why he went ahead and bought the new one.

He mentions that when compared to the previous generation, he does not like the front-end design of the current Verna. However, after modifications, the car has started to look good. The design of the current generation Verna is polarizing, and we are not surprised to hear that the owner did not like it. He wanted the car in black shade, and the modifications done to the car complement the overall exterior look and paint job. Starting with the front, the owner of this sedan has smoked the LED strip that runs across the width of the car. This was one element that the owner did not like when he bought the car. He mentions that after giving it a smoked effect, it looks good.

This is the SX automatic variant, which means the car came with alloy wheels. The stock 16-inch alloy wheels on this Verna were replaced with aftermarket 17-inch alloy wheels. The alloy wheels are blacked out, and the low-profile tires come with white stickers, too, adding a sporty touch. The wheels are slightly wider than the stock version. The Hyundai logo on the bonnet and the tailgate have also been smoked.

The Hyundai Verna seen in the video is not the turbo variant. The owner of this car has also upgraded the music system and spent over Rs 1.5 lakh on the subwoofers, amp, and speakers. The owner mentions that he wanted a black sedan and did not look for any other brand as he wanted this Verna only. He mentions that his brother has a Mahindra Thar at home, so he wanted a more practical family sedan. He went for the sedan because his mother has difficulties getting in and out of an SUV. His wife wanted an automatic, and his son wanted a car with a sunroof. By buying the Verna, he met all their needs and can be heard saying in the video that they are all happy with the decision.

The Hyundai Verna seen in the video is powered by a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 115 Ps and 143 Nm of peak torque. There is a turbocharged version of the Verna available in the market that uses a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine that generates 160 Ps and 253 Nm of peak torque. Both of these engine options are available with manual and automatic options.
