Since its release last year, the updates have come thick and fast for Gran Turismo 7, with the latest version of the game including new cars like the Jaguar XJ220 and Mercedes-AMG GT3. Released this week, update 1.32 for PlayStation fans also adds the Dallara SF23 Super Formula with either a Honda or Toyota engine, while Super Formula itself is a new option within the game’s World Circuits. In GT Cafe, players can choose from two new menus – the Alpine or Shelby collection – and there are two new Scapes, those being North Yorkshire and Miyazaki, for the game’s photography mode.
Perhaps the highlight of these updates is the addition of the iconic 1992 Jaguar XJ220, which we consider one of the best British cars of all time. For a period in the 1990s, it held the record for being the fastest production car in the world.
It makes its virtual comeback here for the first time since GT6.
