Ajay Devgn’s Rolls Royce & Maybach GLS600 seen with the traditional ‘Nimbu-Mirchi’ [Video]

In the past, we have seen several videos and images of new and expensive cars and SUVs owned by Bollywood celebrities. While some of them prefer humble rides, there are a few who have a large collection of expensive and exotic cars. Like many actors from the industry, Ajay Devgn is also very passionate about cars, and he has a wide array of premium cars in his collection. Most of these cars are from foreign manufacturers; however, the way these cars are treated at Ajay Devgn’s garage is truly Indian. Here, we have two videos that show Ajay Devgn’s Rolls Royce Cullinan and Maybach GLS600 SUV with traditional ‘Nimbu-Mirchi’ hanging on the bumper.

The videos have been shared by the Bollywood and Cars For You YouTube channels. In both of these videos, Ajay Devgn is seen arriving at a venue for a shoot or promotion of one of his movies. In the first video, the actor arrives at the venue in his Rolls Royce Cullinan SUV. Ajay Devgn was one of the first actors from the industry to own a Rolls Royce Cullinan. He uses this SUV a lot to move around.

As the SUV comes to a stop, you would notice a small lemon and chilly tied to a string hanging on the bottom of the front bumper of the Cullinan. In India, people usually get this lemon and chilly on a string and hang it in front of houses and vehicles to protect them from the evil eye. It is also considered a good luck charm in some regions. We guess the actor was trying to protect his prized possessions from the evil eye. The Rolls Royce Cullinan might be the most expensive vehicle in Ajay Devgn’s garage, but that does not mean other vehicles are ignored.

It looks like the actor does this for every vehicle that he owns. Here we have another video where Ajay Devgn is seen coming out of the private airport in Mumbai, and as he approaches the exit gate, there is his Mercedes Maybach GLS 600 SUV waiting for him outside. Just like in the Cullinan, there is a string of chilies and lemon on the lower part of the bumper of this flagship SUV. If you watch closely inside the cabin of this SUV, we can see a small shawl placed on the dashboard. This is often from a temple or any religious place. It looks like the actor really loves his vehicles, and maybe this is one way he is expressing his love.

The Rolls Royce Cullinan is powered by a 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V12 petrol engine that generates 571 PS of maximum power and 850 Nm of maximum torque. It is mated to an automatic transmission and, like any Rolls Royce car, the Cullinan also comes with a wide range of customization and luxury features. The Maybach GLS600 is one of the recent additions to Ajay Devgn’s garage. The car costs around Rs 3 crore ex-showroom. The SUV comes with a long list of features. It is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 engine that gets a 48V mild-hybrid system. The engine generates a maximum power of 557 PS and 730 Nm. The hybrid system adds another 22 PS and a 250 Nm boost on demand. The power goes to all four wheels through a 9-speed automatic transmission.
