This is how a multi-crore Rolls Royce gets home-delivered in India [Video]

Rolls-Royce cars are widely regarded as the ultimate symbol of luxury. With an impressive portfolio of models, the British car manufacturer has made many of them available in India. Last year, Rolls-Royce launched its brand-new Ghost in the Indian market, and since then, numerous buyers have opted for the second generation Rolls-Royce Ghost. In this video, we witness the delivery of a 2021 second-generation Rolls-Royce Ghost to a customer’s residence in Hyderabad, which holds a special significance as it was the first delivery of its kind in South India.

Hyderabad Luxury Rides uploaded the video on their YouTube channel, which showcases the delivery process of the vehicle to its rightful owner. The car, belonging to Mohammed Shoeb, a real estate businessman, is seen being delivered to his residence, a magnificent mansion where he and his family reside. The video displays glimpses of Mohammed Shoeb’s lavish car collection, including the Lamborghini Aventador, a Ferrari, and several others parked in the garage.

The car arrived at the customer’s home on a flatbed, completely covered in black cloth. Once the cloth was removed, the driver proceeded to drive the car to the porch, where it was once again covered in black cloth. The proud owner of the new Rolls-Royce Ghost walked out of his mansion and onto the porch, unveiling the stunning vehicle beneath the cloth cover. After receiving the keys, Mohammed Shoeb took the car for a spin within the confines of his luxurious property.

The first generation of the Rolls-Royce Ghost made its debut nearly 11 years ago, and only now is the model undergoing a generational shift. The all-new Rolls-Royce Ghost features a new aluminum spaceframe, similar to the one used in the latest Phantom. The Ghost has increased in size, measuring 89mm longer, 30mm wider, and 21mm taller than its previous generation. Despite these changes, the wheelbase on this luxury sedan remains unchanged at 3,295mm.

Rolls-Royce has implemented several other changes, such as moving the front suspension mounting forward and placing the engine in front of the axle to achieve a perfect 50:50 weight distribution. With the latest redesign, the Rolls-Royce Ghost now offers a remarkable 507 litres of boot space. Although the overall design of the Ghost is undoubtedly Rolls-Royce, it has a unique identity with distinct elements that set it apart from other models. The car features sleeker headlamps with laser technology, offering a range of over 600 meters, along with C-shaped LED DRLs. The iconic Rolls-Royce grille and Spirit of Ecstasy emblem are prominently displayed on the car. The new design portrays a much bolder look than its previous generation.

In terms of the engine, the entry-level Rolls-Royce is equipped with a 6.75-litre, twin-turbocharged V12 that is also used in the Phantom. This powerful engine generates a maximum power of 571 PS and a peak torque of 850 Nm. Despite weighing around 2.5 tonnes, the car can sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 4.8 seconds. The top speed of the Ghost is electronically limited to 205 kmph. The starting price for a brand new Rolls-Royce Ghost is Rs. 6.95 crore.
