That extra $10,000 or so will put the upgrade in line with the ZR2 Desert Boss package that can be optioned with the Chevy Colorado and has the same type of upgrades. We’re hoping the Canyon AT4X AEV Edition goes a little further than the ZR2 Desert Boss, though.
The standard AT4X’s Multimatic DSSV dampers, suspension, and chassis upgrades give it a huge advantage off-road, so the AEV Edition adds a layer of protection and rescue ability on top as well as things like the AEV wheels to remind people you sprung for the top model. It should also add some extra off-road ability where it counts the most.
