The Mahindra Scorpio N is currently one of the most popular 7-seater SUVs in its segment. Since its launch last year, the SUV has attracted a lot of attention. Just like many other Mahindra vehicles, the Scorpio N also has a long waiting period. Deliveries for the Scorpio N have started, and many customers have already started opting for modification options. We have seen some of these examples online, and many of them have been featured on our website as well. Here, we have a small Instagram video that reimagines the Mahindra Scorpio N as a pickup truck, taking heavy inspiration from the Toyota Hilux.

The short Instagram video has been shared by Bimble Designs on their profile. The video showcases a digital render of the Mahindra Scorpio N in a pickup format. The SUV looks heavily inspired by the Toyota Hilux and exudes a rugged appearance. It is a dual cab pickup truck, similar to many others available in the market. The Scorpio N pickup truck is finished in a red shade, which complements its overall look. The artist has made several changes to the SUV to make it more appealing, including retaining the chrome inserts on the grille along with Mahindra’s new logo. The headlamp design remains the same as the stock SUV.

The bumper of the SUV has undergone a complete modification, replacing the stock bumper with an aftermarket off-road bumper. Metal bars and skid plates have been added under the body. The original front fenders of this Scorpio N have also been replaced with custom-made units, while the flared wheel arches provide a wider look to the SUV. The original 18-inch wheels have been swapped out for off-road spec units. The bonnet of the SUV features scoops, and the interior of this Scorpio N has also been customized. It now boasts racing seats with a roll cage.

The cabin showcases a minimalistic design with space for four passengers. The third row of the Scorpio N has been completely removed, and the body has been slightly stretched to create more space for the bed. The upper portion of the tail lamps has been removed, leaving only the lower part visible in the video. The SUV has been completely redesigned to have a rugged appearance, appearing taller than the regular Scorpio N. As a render, it looks extremely impressive. The SUV does seem to draw inspiration from the popular Hilux, which enjoys a significant presence in the international market.

Interestingly, Mahindra used to offer a dual cab pickup version of the Scorpio in the Indian market, called the Scorpio Getaway. However, due to low demand, this model was discontinued in India. Mahindra did manage to sell the pickup version in New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, and several other countries. The international markets even received a facelift for this model, which was never introduced in our market. As of now, Mahindra has not confirmed whether they will bring a pickup version of the Scorpio N to the market. Nevertheless, the render looks very appealing, and we would not mind if Mahindra decides to introduce one based on this video.
