Irmscher, a German tuner known for its hotted-up Opel vehicles, has turned its attention to the Volkswagen ID. Buzz, Wolfsburg’s new electric minivan. The cheeky styling is undoubtedly appealing, but it certainly can’t be described as sporty or aggressive – it was designed to be the opposite, in fact.
But for the select few who want a more athletic-looking family hauler, Irmscher’s accessories will appeal. The front end gains a prominent lip spoiler that provides the ID. Buzz with a muscular, squared-off look. It works exceptionally well with the honeycomb effect grille seen on the lower elements of the fascia. The friendly smile usually seen on the minivan has been turned into a mischievous grin with the addition of this simple component.
On either side of the vehicle, you’ll find matching side skirts that mimic the design of the front lip. Coupled with the discreet rear bumper, the ID. Buzz appears to sit lower to the ground than usual.
