In the world of automotive design, enthusiasts often indulge in imagining exciting transformations of popular models. One such captivating rendering has caught the attention of rally car enthusiasts: the Maruti Suzuki Jimny reimagined as a five-door rally car. With its rugged and compact design, the Jimny already possesses the DNA of an off-road champion. However, this rendering takes it a step further, envisioning this longer wheelbase model with aggressive rally-inspired features. The rendering of the Maruti Suzuki Jimny has been shared on Instagram.

Mridul Basist, the designer more commonly referred to as Bimbledesigns on Instagram, has shared this beautiful render of the new Maruti Suzuki Jimny reimagined as a rally car. The designer has completely changed the appearance of the stock five-door Jimny into a rally SUV. First off, the biggest highlight of this render is that the artist has given the Jimny a massive lift kit, which includes a change to the suspension setup. The artist has given the model a double wishbone suspension in the front and a solid axle in the rear.

He has also added a ton of reinforcement to the suspension of the car, including beefier sway bars and control arms. The car also gets a ton of custom-fabricated parts. At the front, the car also gets a custom red skid plate along with a full metal bumper with four massive pod lights. The fenders have also been enlarged, and it also gets an antenna on the front left side. The bonnet also gets custom air vents as well.

Moving on to the side profile of the car, the biggest highlight of this render is the massive BF Goodrich Mud Terrain tires. They have been wrapped around a set of custom white rally car-inspired alloy wheels. On the side, rock sliders have also been added. The rear windows have also been finished in body color to add to the rally car theme. Apart from that, we can note the inclusion of a snorkel and a custom roof rack with eight LED light pods. The artist has also placed two pod lights in front of the A pillars. Following this, on the rear, we can note that not much has been changed, and it gets a fairly similar design to the standard car, with the exception of a full-size spare wheel same as the ones on the car itself.

Overall, the rendering looks pretty insane, and if something like this becomes a reality, the number of heads that it will turn on Indian roads will be innumerable. As for the standard Jimny, it is a pretty small vehicle and it comes in very small dimensions. In terms of the powertrain, the stock Maruti Suzuki Jimny five-door comes available with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission. The engine delivers a maximum power output of 104.8 PS and a maximum torque output of 134.2 Nm. The manual versions claim a fuel efficiency of 16.94 kmpl, while the automatic variants promise 16.39 kmpl. Suzuki’s AllGrip Pro four-wheel-drive system is standard across all variants.
