Toyota Gazoo Racing has introduced the GR Supra 45th Anniversary Edition to celebrate the nameplate’s, you guessed it, 45-year history, with special nods inspired by the A80 generation from the 1990s, like the Mikan Blast paintwork, which is likely reminiscent of something to do with the hero car of a certain movie franchise.
For those who don’t like searing orange, the GR Supra 45th Anniversary Edition is also available in Absolute Zero (white), but only 900 units will be produced in total. All are based on the 3.0 Premium trim, and will likely carry a price premium, but those details will only be made available at a later date when the cars arrive at dealerships this fall.
So what makes the Supra 45th Anniversary Edition so special? Well, aside from paying tribute to a heritage dating back to a time when it was called the Celica Supra, it also gets a prominent, manually-adjustable wing as its core differentiating factor.
