The exterior can be customized in a number of ways. The ET5 Touring can be painted in 10 “sky-inspired” colors (paired with black roof rails), while four-wheel designs (available in 19 and 20 inches) can be specified. Other personalized touches include painted brake calipers, a tow bar, Comfort Package, and more.
As you would expect from a modern EV, the ET5 Touring features cutting-edge technology. All variants make use of Nio’s Adam Super Computing, which is made up of four Nvidia Drive Orin X chips and 1,016 TOPS of computing power. On the safety front, there’s a total of 23 driver assistance features and seven airbags. Over-the-air updates mean Nio can introduce upgrades over the lifetime of the car.
Currently, the ET5 Touring will be offered in Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. Pricing is yet to be announced, but we expect this slick wagon to be priced between the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y. Now if only Tesla could release a rival to this Nio long-roof.
