Lamborghini is set to reveal its Le Mans Daytona hybrid (LMDh) race car next week at the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed – more than a year after officially announcing its entry into hypercar endurance racing.
The LMDh race car – powered by a newly developed twin-turbo V8 hybrid setup – will be competing at the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Endurance Cup, taking on the Hypercar and GTP classes in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, 12 Hours of Sebring, and 24 Hours of Daytona.
Lamborghini Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann, Chief Technical Officer Rouven Mohr, and Head of Motorsport Giorgio Sanna, together with partner Iron Lynx, will present the race car at Goodwood.
