Chevy Silverado With TurboMax Gasoline Engine Will Have Longer Warranty Than Ford, Ram, and Toyota

If that wasn’t enough, be reminded that Chevy’s Assistant Chief Engineer for the 2.7-liter turbo engine previously claimed that it is built with the same durability and performance as a diesel mill. In its most powerful form, the Turbomax can generate up to 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. And via the Max Tow package, trucks equipped with this engine can two up to 9,500 pounds.

The new inline-4 turbo even made its way to other General Motors products like the ruggedly handsome 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4X. Of note, this model is trail capable, so we’re dying to know how the Turbomax does while crawling through challenging terrains.
