Kalyan Jewellers has outlets spread across various parts of India and the world. There are very few who have not heard of Kalyan Jewellers. T. S. Kalyanaraman embarked on his professional journey at a tender age. At just 12 years old, his father introduced him to the textile shops, imparting essential business knowledge. Enough about T.S. Kalyanaraman; now let’s delve into his collection of cars. He possesses a profound passion for luxury and high-end vehicles. One of his notable favorites is the Rolls Royce brand, as he owns a Rolls Royce Phantom Series I and two Phantom Series II models. Each of these three cars exhibits a distinct color scheme. While one boasts a sleek black finish, another radiates in a shade of silver, and the last one exudes elegance with a white hue.
The Rolls Royce Phantom stands as the pinnacle saloon car crafted by the prestigious British manufacturer. Recognized for its opulence, the Phantom comes with an exorbitant price tag of approximately Rs 10 crore. However, akin to any Rolls Royce vehicle, the owner has the liberty to personalize both the exterior and interior, further elevating the overall price.
The Rolls Royce Phantom is equipped with a robust 6.75-liter V12 petrol engine, delivering an impressive output of 445 Bhp and a peak torque of 720 Nm. This engine is paired with an automatic transmission system that incorporates GPS connectivity. This advanced feature enables the transmission to anticipate upcoming turns and facilitate smoother gear shifts accordingly.
In addition to the Rolls Royce Phantoms, Mr. Kalyanaraman possesses other vehicles in his garage as well. Among them is the Volkswagen Touareg SUV. It is worth noting that this particular SUV does not fall under the luxury category. It was available in the Indian market until 2014 but was discontinued due to poor sales. The Touareg was imported as a completely built unit (CBU) and carried a price tag of Rs 59 lakh during its time in the Indian market.
In addition to his impressive car collection, Mr. Kalyanaraman is the proud owner of a private jet and a helicopter. His private jet is the Embraer Legacy 650, which, as mentioned in the video, carries a price tag of Rs 178 crore. Furthermore, he possesses a private helicopter, the Bell 427, manufactured in Canada, with an estimated value of around Rs 48 crore, as stated in the video.
