F1 teams have also confirmed their attendance at the festival. The list includes the McLaren F1 Team, Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team, Scuderia Ferrari F1 Team, and Williams Racing. A dedicated F1 Pit Lane will be present where eventgoers can get close to magnificent machines, engineers, and drivers.
In addition to using sustainable fuel, cars with fully-electric powertrains will join the fray. One is the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N, a more performance-oriented version that will debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed from July 13 to July 16.
Later this year, Vettel will be arriving at the Nurburgring to drive the RB7 he brought to victory in the 2011 season. Like his F1 cars bound for Goodwood, the RB7 will conquer the famed German track using its Renault-sourced V8 on synthetic fuel.
