ECD Auto Design has released another restomod masterpiece called Project Oliver Plaid. Known for its expertise in bringing vintage Jaguar Land Rover models back to life, ECD reimagined a classic Range Rover with all the charm provided by the 1970s design but powered by a piece of old-fashioned American muscle.
Unlike ECD’s Porsche-inspired Project Gibbles, Project Oliver Plaid is based on a ’90s Land Rover Range Rover but with a ’70s body on top.
It’s painted Alpine Green (borrowed from Bentley), a color known for being ubiquitous in households during the same era. The homey vibe contrasts nicely with the Range Rover’s rugged exterior, enhanced by a front skid plate, a minimalist roof rack, and 16-inch polished wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires. We love the steelie-inspired vibe coming off those 16-inch wheels.
