Toyota has unveiled an all-new commercial truck called the Rangga. The adorable pickup was unveiled at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS 2023). It previews a highly versatile platform that can accommodate the needs of just about anyone.
The automaker hasn’t shared any technical data but hopes the concept can go on to become a must-have tool for Indonesian businesses. This is evident in the unique concepts Toyota has built on the platform. Aside from the no-nonsense pickup truck pictured below, the automaker also previewed other models, such as the Rangga Concept Ambulance, Rangga Concept Mobile Cafe, and Rangga Concept Pace Car.
The images show that the Rangga appears relatively compact and narrow. The styling is functional, with black plastic bumpers, practical steel wheels, and a simple and practical bed. You’ll find a cheerful face that reminds us of the Toyota Stallion, a commercial vehicle sold in select markets during the 1980s and 1990s.
