When we speak about expensive cars, the Ambani family’s name does come out on top. They have one of the largest private collections of expensive and exotic cars in the country. However, there are other billionaire businessmen in the country who own a decent number of expensive and luxury cars. Cars from brands like Rolls-Royce and Bentley are quite common in their garages. Just like Rolls-Royce, Bentley also offers a variety of expensive saloons and SUVs to its wealthy customers. They are known for making super-expensive cars. One of the most expensive cars currently in India costs over Rs 14 crore, and it is actually a Bentley. The car is owned by V.S. Reddy, the managing director of one of India’s largest medical nutrition manufacturing companies, British Biologicals.

The special edition that we see here in the pictures is priced at around Rs 14 crore, which is more than double the price of a standard one. This makes the Bentley Mulsanne EWB Centenary Edition one of the rarest and also the most expensive models ever produced by the manufacturer. The Centenary Edition of the Mulsanne saloon was launched to celebrate its 100th anniversary. The “EWB” in the name stands for Extended Wheelbase, which translates into better or more space for occupants inside. As this was a 100th-anniversary edition, Bentley has only manufactured 100 units of this car. This makes the car a lot more exclusive. It comes in three distinct exterior colors: Centenary Gold, Centenary Black, and Centenary White.

The Centenary Edition of the Mulsanne EWB comes with special badging, a unique grille, wheel center caps, scuff plates, and so on. The interior of this super luxury saloon is also designed uniquely. It gets exclusive embroidery and piping on the seats, along with special veneers and centenary badges throughout the cabin. The car gets power-reclining rear seats with diamond-quilting stitching in rare hide leather. The seats can be heated, chilled, and ventilated for maximum passenger comfort. Adding to the grandeur, a beautifully crafted picnic table resides within the center console at the rear.

The rear passenger also gets a glass cabinet between the seats, electrically controlled privacy curtains, and the floor is completely covered in lambswool-finished floor mat. The Bentley Mulsanne EWB Centenary Edition is powered by a 6.75-liter V8 engine capable of generating 506 horsepower and 1020 Nm of torque. It is mated to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. While the Mulsanne may look like a huge car, it can still do 0-100 kmph sprint in just 5.5 seconds. The top speed of this luxury saloon is limited to 296 kmph.
