Toyota Crown Sport Debuts With Ferrari Styling And Hybrid Power

The lines of the protruding fender are both playful and elegant, swooping down to the side skirts and providing a muscular, athletic look. 21-inch wheels are standard and fill the arches rather nicely. Overall, we see subtle traces of the Ferrari Purosangue throughout the design.

There are 11 exterior finishes to choose from: six monotone and five bi-color. The Crown Sport measures 185.8 inches long, 74.1 inches wide, and 61.6 inches tall.

Currently, one trim level (Sport Z) is available and is powered by a hybrid 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. Toyota claims a combined output of 231 horsepower and WLTC-rated gas mileage of 50.1 mpg. It’s not the most powerful engine in the world, but the manufacturer says it makes light work of everyday driving and boasts impressive acceleration. Power is delivered to all four wheels via Toyota’s e-four drive system.
