Maruti Suzuki Jimny is one of the most recently launched 4×4 SUVs on the market. This was one of the most awaited models from Maruti this year. Maruti Suzuki has a long lineup of cars in the market, but the Jimny is the only one offering 4×4. India was also the first country to launch the 5-door version of the Jimny. The car is extremely popular among off-road enthusiasts, and they have already started modifying it as well. We have recently seen several examples of tastefully modified Jimnys from different parts of the country. Here, we have an example of a Jimny that looks rugged after installing off-road bumpers.
The video has been uploaded by Modified Hub on their YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger talks about the modifications he has been making to his Jimny. He has already installed several aftermarket accessories to the SUV to make it more off-road worthy. To start with, the stock 15-inch rims on the Jimny were replaced with aftermarket units. These are larger wheels than the stock version. The tires have also been replaced. The owner has also installed a lift kit, which has improved the ground clearance as well as the overall stance.
The video mainly discusses the new bumper that the vlogger got for his SUV. The stock bumper on the SUV was replaced with an aftermarket unit from a brand called Stellar. He not only bought it but also customized it with his channel’s name. The vlogger shows how this bumper is different from the others available in the market. He shows a plate that is attached to the chassis of the SUV. This plate actually acts as a base for the winch. Installing a winch is a task that requires expertise. If you don’t install it in the right place, it may even damage your vehicle badly.

The metal bumper is actually another piece that comes above this plate. The new off-road bumper fits in perfectly and also pops out of the bodyline much. It is a metal bumper, which means it would affect the functioning of airbags on the SUV. The vlogger looks least concerned about it at the moment. He shows how the fog lamps can be installed on the new bumper and its provisions for installing the headlamp washers. The vlogger mentions that he is planning to upgrade the headlamps as well. He also installed red-colored shackles on the bumper.
The overall look of the Jimny has transformed, and it looks a lot more rugged. The off-road abilities of the SUV have also been enhanced. It should be noted that these types of modifications are completely illegal. They would also affect the driving dynamics of the vehicle. Cops can actually stop and issue a challan or even seize your vehicle for such kinds of modifications. The Jimny is powered by a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 103 Bhp and 134 Nm of peak torque. It is available with a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic transmission option. The video does not mention the exact price of the bumper in this video.
