After its international media launch last month, the new BMW i5 and 5 Series are ready for their market launch. Individual markets are hosting media drives and the latest one hails from the United Kingdom. In this new photoshoot, we get a closer look at the top of the line 5 Series – the BMW i5 M60 xDrive – in Frozen Deep Grey.
A Wide Range of Colors
Of course, customers have a lot more color options. BMW’s latest lineup of i5 and 5 Series models features a delightful mix of classic favorites and fresh choices. Timeless hues like Carbon Black, Black Sapphire, Phytonic Blue, Alpine White, and Mineral White are easily recognizable, while Sophisto Grey and Oxide Grey make a triumphant return. For a modern twist, enjoy the new Cape York Green and Brooklyn Grey. Plus, indulge in the allure of three frozen paints: Frozen Tanzanite Blue, Frozen Pure Grey, and Frozen Deep Grey.
This particular variant also comes with the optional M Sport Pro package which adds a a sleek black border to the illuminated BMW kidney grille. It also comes with a dynamic light carpet, high-gloss black exterior mirror caps, and a stylish black-painted M rear spoiler. Furthermore, they come equipped with M Shadow Line lights for both the front and rear, along with eye-catching red-painted brake calipers. M Sport Pro models also receive 20-inch light alloy wheels as standard.
Veganza Upholstery as Standard
Inside, the BMW i5 M60 with M Sport Pro also feature M seat belts and an M Sports Steering wheel with the 12 o’clock red marker. The leather choice in this i5 M60 is black, adding to the overall darker theme. Of course, BMW does offer plenty of upholstery options, from high-end leathers to vegan. iDrive 8.5 and the large curved display are also included.
Most Powerful 5 Series Ever
The pinnacle of the current 5 Series lineup, the BMW i5 M60, harnesses the power of xDrive all-wheel drive and dual motors to produce a massive 590 horsepower and 549 pound-feet of torque. With the added advantage of Sport Boost/Launch Control, this vehicle can achieve a lightning-quick 0 to 60 mph acceleration in a mere 3.7 seconds. The 2024 BMW i5 M60 introduces the latest Adaptive M Suspension Professional, complete with electronically controlled dampers, Integral Active Steering, and a subtly lowered ride height of 0.3 inches.
