We have spoken and written about such actors and actresses in the past. One such actor is Sunny Deol. While the actor has several other luxury cars, he has a soft spot for Porsche. The actor revealed this in a recent interview with the Indian Express.
Sunny Deol made a comeback in the industry with his movie Gadar 2. The movie grossed Rs 524 crore in theaters. Earlier this year, the actor posted a picture of a 992 Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Package on Instagram. In the picture, the actor was posing with his father Dharmendra, a veteran actor in the industry. In an interview, Sunny Deol said, “I am not an SUV person, but I am a great fan of Porsche cars. I love Porsche. I remember that when my son Rocky (Karan Deol) was born, I wanted to bring him home in a Porsche, and that’s when I bought a Porsche 911.”

The actor has three Porsche cars in his garage. One of them is the recently purchased 992 Generation 911 GT3. The other is a 993-generation Porsche 911, and a classic 964 Porsche. Images of the 964 Porsche 911 with a personalized number plate are available online. However, we could not find any images of the 993 Porsche owned by Sunny Deol. In the interview, Sunny Deol’s youngest son Rajveer Deol mentioned that his dad owns a vintage Porsche 911. He was probably talking about the 964. The 964 Porsche is actually not kept in India; it is currently located in the UK. Sunny keeps the car there with his family and drives it whenever he visits the place. The 964 Porsche is finished in a very elegant shade of blue and also bears the registration number ASD (Ajay Singh Deol), which is Sunny Deol’s real name.
The car was also featured in a movie back in 1993. Apart from this, the Deol family also owns other Porsche models like the Cayenne, and his brother Bobby Deol owns a 991 Mark 1 911 Carrera 4S in Guards Red shade. Sunny Deol mentioned in his interview that when he was around 12-13 years old, he used to sit on his driver’s lap and drive the car. He doesn’t know exactly why he loves Porsche as a brand.
The latest Porsche in his garage is the 992 Porsche 911 GT3. The car is finished in Gentian Blue and fitted with satin black wheels. Sunny Deol’s 911 GT3 is powered by a 4.0-liter flat-six engine that generates 502 Bhp and 470 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 7-speed PDK, and the power is sent to the rear wheels. The car can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds, and the top speed is around 317 kmph. The Touring Pack version does not feature the massive wing on the standard GT3. The price for a brand new Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Package is Rs 2.75 crore, ex-showroom. In addition to the Porsche, Sunny Deol also owns cars like the Land Rover Defender and the Jeep Meridian in his garage.
