Ferrari 812 Successor Spied Wearing Heavy Camouflage

If Ferrari chooses not to electrify its twelve-cylinder engine – like rival Lamborghini has done – we don’t expect the F167’s power figures to jump significantly from the 812’s outputs. Then again, that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Before it went out of production, the 812 Superfast gave customers an incredible 789 hp. In Competizione guise, it makes a startling 819 horses.

While there are supercars with more impressive figures, the V12 stands out as it is naturally aspirated and devoid of electrical assistance. Perhaps Ferrari will focus on lightweight construction and highly advanced aerodynamics to make up for unchanged power outputs if that’s the case.

We expect the 812 successor will send power to the rear wheels via a dual-clutch transmission, tuned for performance driving. It’s been some time since the 812 was available, so the replacement should be with us shortly, with some estimating a 2025 debut.
