Any type of vehicle modification is actually illegal in India. Although it is illegal, people still modify their vehicles anyway. There are owners who modify their cars well within the limits, and there are others who completely transform the overall look. We even have workshops that can transform our regular cars into expensive and exotic vehicles. We have come across several cases where people have converted Honda City and Civic into Lamborghinis and Ferraris. Here, we have a video where a Mahindra Scorpio has been modified to look like a Mercedes G-Wagen Limousine.

The video has been shared by Jaipur Jeep Lovers on their YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger talks about the Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen replica that was built at his workshop. The vlogger mentions that they used an in-house body kit for this project. It was originally a Mahindra Scorpio SUV that was converted into a limousine. The Scorpio Limousine was later transformed into a G-Wagen. The video starts by discussing the exterior of the limousine.

The front fascia of the SUV was completely transformed, and it now looks like a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen. The Mercedes logo on the front grille is illuminated, but it looks quite cheap. The workshop did a good job replicating the design; however, we can’t say the same for the whole vehicle. The LED lights in some places give the car a cheap look. There are black-finished fender flares, and as it is a limousine, there is a long running board.

This is actually useful for getting in and out of the car. The side profile of the SUV was significantly stretched to make it resemble a limousine. Multiple windows were added to the SUV to give it a proportionate look. The car still has only four doors. The rear of the Scorpio was also redesigned to resemble a G-Wagen.

The interior of the SUV was also completely overhauled. The car was converted into a party bus or party limousine on the inside. It was modified by the workshop so that people can hire it for private events. The driver’s cabin is separated using a partition. The roof and the seats are all redone. Several LED strips and laser lights are installed inside the cabin. An LED television is also mounted on the partition wall. The TV can be controlled from the driver’s cabin.

The SUV also comes with a false ceiling and a comfortable sofa or recliner for the passengers. There is a counter next to the side-facing seats that can be used as a bar counter as well. Since this is a party bus or limousine, the speaker system in the car is top-notch. It is evident from the video that this is not the best-looking G-Wagen replica from India. We have seen several people import body kits to convert their Bolero MPVs to resemble a G-Wagen. However, we do appreciate the efforts made by the workshop to complete this project with limited resources. It should be noted that this SUV is completely illegal for road use, and we do not recommend doing the same.
