His father, Mammootty, is one of the biggest stars in the industry, and they both own the popular 369 garage. They have a variety of expensive and exotic cars in their garage. Dulquer Salmaan has added another car to the 369 garage, a brand new BMW 740i luxury sedan worth Rs 1.78 crore, ex-showroom. A video of him driving the brand new BMW on the road has surfaced on social media platforms.
The video has been shared by dq_cars_369 on their Instagram page. The video was recorded somewhere in Chennai. It was actually recorded by a person traveling in a car right in front of Dulquer’s brand new BMW 740i. If you look carefully, you can also see DQ behind the steering wheel of the luxury sedan. The person in the car with him is unknown. The actor is slowly driving the sedan through the busy Chennai roads.

Just like many other cars in Mammootty & Dulquer’s garage, this newly bought BMW also sports the fancy 369 registration number. It is the current generation 7-Series sedan that the actor has purchased. The video was shot at night, so the car’s color is not very clear. However, it appears to be Oxide Grey Metallic, which looks elegant. The 7-Series seems to have become an absolute favorite among many young actors in the Malayalam film industry. Earlier this year, actors like Asif Ali and Nivin Pauly also purchased 7-Series sedans. Compared to the 7-Series bought by other actors, Dulquer probably had to pay less because it is registered in Tamil Nadu.
The current generation 7-Series has a polarizing design. It now comes with a bigger kidney grille at the front with LED bars outlining it. The headlamp is a split unit. The car features flush-fitting door handles, all-LED lights, 19-inch alloy wheels, and more. The car seen in the video is the updated 2023 version of the 7-Series that was launched earlier this year. The car features a curved infotainment screen, which we have seen in many modern-day BMWs. This curved display consists of a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment screen.
Just like the electric version of the 7-Series, the 740i also comes with a roof-mounted 31.3-inch 8K cinema screen. Other features include a 5.5-inch touchscreen unit on the rear doors, a panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery with electrical adjustments, ambient lights, and more. Dulquer Salmaan has bought the 740i M Sport variant. It is powered by a 3.0-liter, in-line six-cylinder, turbocharged engine that generates 375 Bhp and 520 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a mild hybrid system as well. The car comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard. It can accelerate from 0-100 Kmph in 5.4 seconds and has a top speed of 250 Kmph. Last month, Dulquer’s father, Mammootty, bought a brand new Mercedes-Benz AMG A45S hot hatchback.
