The first part of the video shows her reviving the project, which was left idle for a while. Sarah went to replace the Forester’s exhaust pipes, which were already leaking. She went for an HKS EJ20T, which is specced for the legendary Subaru Impreza WRX. While not precisely made for the SUV, they have the exact size, allowing cross-model use.
Using only genuine Subaru components from Japan, the conversion from a regular fourth-generation Forester into a tS edition wasn’t met with blockades. The brakes and performance upgrades align with the limited production run model. As for the handling, Sarah highlighted installing draw stiffeners to enhance chassis rigidity and steering feedback, including upgraded upper strut-tower braces and anti-sway bars. Front and rear dampers and coil springs have been upgraded, even before the exhaust replacement.
It all just bolts on as it should.
