'Opera Unica' Lamborghini Revuelto Spent 435 Hours in the Paint Booth

  • Lamborghini is revealing a new ‘Opera Unica’ version of the upcoming hybrid V-12–powered Revuelto.
  • The supercar showcases an exclusive interior and a wild paint job that fades from Viola Pasifae to Nero Helene with brushstroke details accentuating the vehicle’s body lines.
  • The Revuelto is propelled by a 814-hp 6.5-liter V-12 and three electric motors that total 1001 horsepower.

Unless your neighbors have last names like Jenner or Leno, you probably crane your neck for every Lamborghini you spot in the wild. With crazy exhausts and exotic styling, they tend to demand your attention. The one-off ‘Opera Unica’ version of the 2024 Revuelto exotic sports car that Lamborghini is revealing at Art Basel will demand your attention no matter who your neighbors are.

A Wild Car with Wilder Paint

It doesn’t have an obnoxious exhaust or spit multi-foot-long flames out the back—at least not that we know of. No, it’s the paint job of this particular Revuelto that commands stares. The exterior is hand-painted and fades from Viola Pasifae (purple) to Nero Helene (black), with blue and orange brushstroke details along the body lines. Lamborghini says the process added 76 hours of development and testing to the car and took a total of 435 hours to complete.

There’s also a 60th-anniversary logo on the hood of the car, and in true Lambo style, it’s complete with a set of bull horns. The inside of the one-off is nearly as fun. It plays with two-tone black and purple leather—this time Nero Ade and Viola Acutus. The seatbacks, door cards, and the headliner are all embroidered with the same 60th-anniversary motif as the hood. Leaving no stone unturned, even the start-stop button cover is finished in the brushstroke colors.

Flip it open to wake the Revuelto’s hybrid powertrain, which consists of three electric motors and an 814-hp 6.5-liter V-12. We’re one of the lucky ones who had the chance to climb behind the wheel and experience its awesome acceleration and pulse-raising soundtrack.
