The updated Model 3 has a lounge-like interior featuring a combination of aluminum and fabric materials. Tesla also added ambient lighting to the Model 3, while soundproofing has been enhanced using acoustic glass. There are two interior options, black and white, with the latter warranting an additional $1,000.
The Model 3’s 15.4-inch infotainment screen has been updated with slimmer bezels and wireless charging for two phones. Rear passengers also get an eight-inch rear display for climate, ventilation, and infotainment controls. The Standard Range RWD gets a nine-speaker amplifier setup, while the Long Range AWD has 17 speakers, including two subwoofers.
Meanwhile, steering-mounted “gear” controls have replaced the traditional lever, and the emblem on the tiller has been replaced with a Tesla wordmark.
