This Is What Hyundai's Flying Taxi Will Look Like

Thanks to an all-electric architecture with eight all-tilting motors, the S-A2’s operation is as quiet “as a dishwasher.” The noise measures 65 dB during vertical take-off and landing stages and 45 dB while cruising horizontally.

The engineering of the final product is being handled by Hyundai Motor Group’s Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) division, Supernal. The award-winning designers at Hyundai are responsible for the styling. They applied what they had learned while designing road-going cars. So, if you fancy the looks of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6, this flying taxi may start growing on you, too.

Inside, the vehicle has different color palettes and materials, including aviation-grade and energy-absorbing materials, contributing to the minimalist finish. The lighting system also gives a sense of a larger cabin, which seats a pilot and four passengers.
