That said, early leaked footage of the latest FSD update still shows room for improvement. In a since-deleted video, the electric vehicle handles smoothly but struggles to slow down for speed bumps and appears hesitant to exit intersections. However, this was still early when FSD V12.1.2 was only available to employees, so this has likely been remedied.

Per Teslarati, company CEO Elon Musk has said the Full Self-Driving system will drop the “Beta” suffix, suggesting that Tesla has eradicated all known flaws or bugs. However, “Beta” can still be seen on the in-vehicle touchscreen when the update is shown, suggesting more improvements will be made available before Tesla decides it is perfect.

The manufacturer has not said which vehicles this update is available on, but we expect it will be applied across the range, from the entry-level Model 3 to the Model X, providing they’re FSD-equipped.
