Electric Dodge Charger Daytona To Debut In March

Dodge will reportedly debut the all-new Charger Daytona EV on March 5. Per Automotive News, Matt McAlear, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Dodge, revealed the information at the J.D. Power Auto Summit in Las Vegas.

Yes, the Dodge Charger nameplate, introduced in 1966, is finally going electric after being discontinued last year. But the automaker isn’t worried about the huge transition, with McAlear saying, “This is the next generation of muscle.”

“We’re not going for the lowest drag coefficient, we’re not going for the highest mileage. We’re going to truly set a new bar,” he added.
