Singer celebrates a milestone in high performance and Porsche heritage.

Singer Vehicle Design is known for delivering the best of both worlds when it comes to automotive excellence: preserving the heritage and legacy of classic Porsches, and employing incredible cutting-edge engineering and design to deliver high performance that matches some of the greatest modern machines.

Recently, Singer has announced an important milestone: the completion of its 300th reimagination of the Porsche 911. Restored in close collaboration with its owner, the new ‘Sotto’ Commission from Singer represents a beautiful example of Singer’s amazing abilities, and its reverence for the classic Porsche 911.

Based on a 1990 Porsche 911 Targa, from the 964 generation, the latest commission features carbon fiber bodywork, tinted in Resistance Blue with beautiful ghosted side stripes. The interior, which is also bespoke, is upholstered in orange leather with black contrast stitching, and the carbon fiber track-ready seats feature woven leather in the centers and nickel grommets.

The 4.0-liter naturally-aspirated engine is air-cooled and mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission, making for a proper tribute to the classic air-cooled Porsche 911’s legacy, and carbon-ceramic brakes and a titanium exhaust add a modern edge and high-performance capability. Now with 300 incredible reimaginations of the classic Porsche 911 under its belt, Singer Vehicle Design is truly an expert in celebrating the heritage of one of the world’s greatest sports cars.
