Nissan hasn’t officially confirmed the future of the GT-R nameplate. However, previous reports point to electrification, with the next-generation model adopting the Hyper Force concept’s wild and futuristic styling. According to Nissan program design director Giovanny Arroba, the concept wasn’t based on “pure fantasy” and is expected to become a reality by the decade’s end.
As with many rumors, take this report with a grain of salt, as Nissan has yet to release an official statement on the matter. We will, however, know more soon as the R35’s fate will reportedly be sealed on March 14, 2024.
