Today, Jordan is proud to tease an upcoming automotive-inspired project with sponsored NBA All-Star Luka Doncic (@lukadoncic), showcasing both a new sneaker release and a custom car build. The campaign focuses on Doncic’s all-new Luka 3 signature Jordan shoe and the two show-stopping colorways that demand attention on the basketball court.
The teaser comes courtesy of an Instagram post from The Jordan Brand profile (@jumpman23), which shows off some sneak peek images and videos of what seems to be a Buick Grand National customized with Air Jordan branding. If the classic, web-style BBS wheels or turbocharged 6-cylinder burnout weren’t dead giveaways, the up-close shot of the rear end uncovers the GNX’s iconic reverse lights will help point you in the right direction. The Buick Grand National sports a special Air Jordan vanity plate with Doncic’s #77 and text that reads “The Jumpman State. All traditional Buick Grand National badging has been replaced to showcase Luka’s signature logo. While specifics on the vehicle build have yet to be released, the Buick Grand National stands out as a classic American iconic in the collector car market.
