All-New Ford Mustang Experience Center Coming Next Year

Key Takeaways

  • New Mustang Experience Center will offer a range of amenities for Mustang enthusiasts.
  • The center is set to open in 2025 near the Charlotte Motor Speedway.
  • Amenities will include a Mustang Merchandise retail store, an aftermarket parts shop, and conference space.

Ford has always been an enthusiast brand, catering to gearheads beyond the showroom with amenities like the Bronco Off-Roadeo experience. And next year, Mustang owners will be able to join in on the fun, after it was announced that the Mustang Experience Center will open its doors in 2025.

Billed as the “destination for all things Mustang,” the new experience center will be located near the Charlotte Motor Speedway and offer Mustang fans a bit of everything. Aside from a conference space for events, an aftermarket parts shop, and a Mustang merchandise store, the center will include a Ford Heritage Gallery to celebrate 60 years of the iconic muscle car. In honor of this milestone, the Blue Oval introduced a special 60th Anniversary package for the Mustang GT Premium.

Plenty For Mustang Fans To Look Forward To

For car-obsessed couples, Ford says the Mustang Experience Center can even host weddings. This, of course, is just an example of the venue’s versatility and will allow Mustang aficionados to celebrate milestone moments surrounded by memorabilia of their favorite car. But that’s not all fans can look forward to – the Ford Performance Racing School will grow to accommodate the new Mustang Unleashed program for Mustang EcoBoost and GT drivers.

Other regions will have to wait for their shot at Mustang GTD ownership – America and Canada get first dibs.

This is much like the Dark Horse Track Attack Program, which teaches Mustang owners to get the most out of their cars during on-track performance driving. And the Charlotte Motor Speedway is the ideal location for this. Aside from a 1.5-mile Superspeedway, there’s a four-wide drag strip, a 2.25-mile road course, a quarter-mile oval, and a four-tenths clay oval housed within the 2,000-acre setting. A 1.7-mile road course will open this year as well.

Latest In Tailored Ford Ownership Experiences

“Mustang has always been about more than just the car; it’s the experiences that come with it, from road trips to track days to cars & coffee,” said Matt Simpson, Ford’s general manager for Enthusiast Vehicles. “Mustang Experience Center is poised to become a special gathering place for the Mustang community, weaving the spirit of the car and Charlotte Motor Speedway together to create new memories.”

This is the latest Ford owner experience that customers can enjoy. F-150 and Ranger Raptor owners benefit from the Assault School, which teaches owners of these trucks how to use their trucks off-road. The aforementioned Bronco Off-Roadeo functions similarly, and recently opened its doors to owners of competitor vehicles, like the Jeep Wrangler and Toyota 4Runner.
