India’s richest family Ambanis are organising the second pre-wedding bash for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The pre-wedding bash will take place in Italy and France between 29 May, 2024 and June 1, 2024. Family members have already started flying to Italy. Recently, Mukesh Ambani’s brother Anil Ambani was spotted at the airport. He is actually flying to Italy. Anil Ambani actually arrived to the airport in a BYD Seal electric sedan.
The video has been shared by On the Spot Shorts on their YouTube channel. In this vidoe, we see Anil Ambani getting out of the driver seat of the BYD Seal. He simply walks into the security area without posing for pictures or even looking at the photographers waiting outside. As per the video, Anil Ambani was spotted at the Kalina airport in Mumbai.
Anil Ambani walks into the airport and that is where the video ends. We can see some men trying to take out luggage from the rear of the car. The BYD Seal seen here in the video is in fact the flagship and latest launch. We ran the registration number of the BYD Seal online and found that the car was registered under the name of Reliance Industries.
The car is actually available in four colour options, namely – Arctic Blue, Aurora White, Atlantis Grey, and Cosmos Black. The car seen here in the video is finished in the signature blue shade. The BYD Seal is offered in three variants namely – Dynamic, Premium and Performance. The car seen here in the video is Premium variant.
The BYD Seal is offered with two battery pack options: a 61.44kWh battery and an 82.56kWh battery, both featuring BYD’s proprietary blade battery technology. It is a premium looking premium sedan that comes with premium looking exterior design, LED headlights and tail lamps, flush-fitting door handles, 19-inch alloy wheels, 15.6 inch touchscreen infotainment screen, 10.25 inch digital instrument cluster, HUD, 8-way electronically adjustable driver’s seat with memory function, heated and ventilated seats for front passenger and driver, wireless phone charging, panoramic sunroof, powered tailgate, a 50-liter frunk and many more.
BYD is also offering 10 airbags, ABS with hill hold assist, automatic wipers, a 360-degree camera, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) with the Seal. The BYD Seal with 61.44 kWh battery pack powers the electric motor at the rear. The RWD version generates 204 Ps and 310 Nm of peak torque. This version has a claimed range of 510 Km.
The Premium variant seen here in the video uses a the 82.56 kWh battery pack. This is also the RWD variant. The Premium variant generates 312 Ps and 360 Nm of peak torque. The Premium variant has a claimed driving range of 650 Km. BYD Seal is not an inexpensive car by any chance. Price for the BYD Seal starts at Rs 41 lakh, ex-showroom and goes up to Rs 53 lakh, ex-showroom.

This is not the first time, we have seen Anil Ambani use an electric vehicle. Earlier this year, we had seen Anil Ambani use a Hyundai Ioniq 5 electric crossover. Anil Ambani was actually sitting on the co-driver seat in this video. Hyundai Ioniq 5 is sold exclusively as a rear-wheel drive vehicle, with the rear-mounted electric motor generating 215 bhp of power and 350 Nm of torque. The 72.6kWh battery pack of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 claims a 631 km range.
